Project: The Impact of Isolation

For his project, Roden created a video to share about different levels of isolation and their impacts. In his video, Roden helps us understand the different ways in which we can be isolated, some when we are physically distant from others and some where we struggle to connect with folks around us. For an earlier draft of his video (that has, sadly, been lost to the whims of technology), Roden took a cartooning course. Though he didn’t end up utilizing those skills in his movie, we wanted to showcase his cartooning here. Enjoy!

Nomad National Geographic

This semester, each Nomadian created an edition of Nomad National Geographic based on a location (real or fictional) of their choosing. For their magazine they did research to write the articles and also studied travel vlogs to include a video component. Click through to read and watch!
