Project: Backyard Beautification &
Volleyball Court!

Nina’s family really enjoys playing volleyball together and for her project she tackled building out the volleyball court in her backyard as well as doing a lot of gardening work to spruce up the area. Nina’s goal in working on the space was to spend time with her family working on the project, and create more opportunities for her family to connect together in their yard both through volleyball and just hanging out in their space.

Below you can see Nina working with her family to dig out and frame the court space. The court will be finalized with a ground covering over the summer, but Nina and her family have already been putting the court to good use!

Nomad National Geographic

This semester, each Nomadian created an edition of Nomad National Geographic based on a location (real or fictional) of their choosing. For their magazine they did research to write the articles and also studied travel vlogs to include a video component. Click through to read and watch!
